Style: L’Oreal Colorista Washout review update

I love L’Oreal. I didn’t think I could be so impressed with a temporary hair dye line.

So here was the starting colour (with a smidge of dry shampoo). Loved it. I think I mentioned in the first blog post that this isn’t quite as described on the box, it is supposed to be pastel peach. If I was to name it, I’d be more tempted to go with ‘Blush Pink’, maybe.

Style: L'Oreal Colorista Washout review - the results

Wash one

This is more of a pastel shade. So impressed with how evenly it starts to fade. My expectations of this line of colours is becoming very high.

Wash two

I was an idiot and got far too carried away with painting my kitchen to remember to take a colour progress selfie. Very annoying because this wash was maybe my favourite. There was a good balance of peachy and blonde in very even looking streaks. You’ll have to take my word for it.

Wash three

There was a very slight hint of peach left but it was basically all gone, I honestly didn’t mind the hint that was left over and just like with the purple L’Oreal dye I think it really helped with stopping my blonde going brassy.

So impressed with this colour. I’m definitely not sponsored at all but definitely wish I was. It was advertised as a two to three wash and that’s exactly what happened. If it had lasted longer I wouldn’t have minded one little bit. This does mean I can get try the other colours I’ve already bought though.

Stay tuned!

Much love!
