I Heart Revolution Rainbow Paste Review

I Heart Revolution Rainbow Paste Review

In the mission for trying new products on my desperately in need of attention hair I came across this I Heart Revolution Rainbow Paste Colour & Styling In One. What could go wrong? The reviews on Superdrug were absolutely awful. So many complaints. Poor colour, makes your hair feel gross, waste of time, etc. The complete rebel in me just became more curious here. Plus it was on offer so only cost £3.32 a pot. Can you really go wrong with that price?

First impressions, it looks like slime. The price and reviews did set very low expectations, which in my opinion isn’t the worst place to start with anything. My starting off hair was feeling pretty good after the L’Oréal Colorista Hair Makeup experiment.

This stuff is weird. It feels like sloppy hair gel that turns every surface bright pink. It is really easy to apply though, my technique was basically small amounts and build it up, I really didn’t fancy covering my clothes and surroundings with excess by going in too heavy to begin with.

I really don’t hate the result. Especially considering the price I don’t think you can really go too wrong with this I Heart Revolution Rainbow Paste Colour & Styling In One. If you go in with the mentality that any two in one product isn’t going to be the same as going to a salon, you can’t complain. The colour is nice and vibrant, and if you’re going for a structured style this could really help. Don’t get me wrong, my hair felt absolutely awful to the touch but I found it didn’t transfer onto my pillow through the night (I did sleep on a towel to be safe but it was clean in the morning) and it washed out really easily not leaving my hair feeling any more dead than before. My inner emo kid is very happy with this discovery, a P!nk inspired hairstyle may have to become a thing in my very near future.

Stay tuned!

Much love!
