L’Oréal Colorista Saves The Bleached Nightmare?

L'Oréal Colorista Saves The Bleached Nightmare?

If you haven’t already read about my recent bleaching nightmare, catch yourself up before you read on.

I’d bought this L’Oréal Colorista Washout in dirty pink in my last little Superdrug haul and it cost £4.66 (on offer). Not bad at all. If you’ve seen any of my previous posts, you’ll already know I’m a big fan of L’Oréal hair colours. All except the blue dye have been very successful.

As always with these products, very easy to apply and only takes about 20 minutes to develop. Not bad at all.

My only criticism of these hair colours is usually that they don’t always match the descriptions, not always in a bad way but you really can’t trust what the box is telling you. My main concern this time was covering up the ridiculous orange roots I’ve inflicted upon myself. So far, things were looking pretty positive.

Washing out all pretty straight forward but this isn’t what I would call a dirty pink, far too bright to be described as that. I’d say it’s more of a highlighter pink.

I’m maybe being a bit too harsh in judging this outcome, mainly because I’m still sulking at my own stupidity for starting this whole process in the first place. You can definitely still see a clear stripe that has an orange tinge. It also looks pretty shiny, like cheap wig shine. Not really the miracle fix I was hoping for.

I’d say this does look better than what I started with, but then it really couldn’t get much worse. For saying these two L’Oréal products are supposed to work together, they really don’t produce great results at all. Blonde needs a professional. I don’t think there’s much more I can do to this shambles than hang my head in shame and pray my hairdresser can perform another miracle!

Stay tuned!

Much love!
