A recent browse of Instagram hashtags found me in a black hole of #100daysofmakeup. Amazing. There are so many talented people out there who can work absolute magic with a makeup bag. I’m not one of those super talented people, and who are we kidding, 100 days is far too much of a commitment for me. 30 days however is perfectly manageable (it should be anyway).
During a recent ASOS shopping spree (surprise, surprise) I couldn’t resist these Barry M eyeshadow palettes. I also couldn’t decide between the three. They are all very similar but surely that just means they should work perfectly together?
How pretty and let’s face it, very safe colours.
My challenge to myself for the next 30 days is to come up with a different face every day. It really shouldn’t be so difficult but it should get me to expand my horizons ever so slightly from the one eyeshadow pan I have recently been using on a day to day basis. Makeup obviously isn’t the be all and end all, but I do find on days where I make a bit of me time in the morning I do generally feel better about myself and more ready to grab the day by the balls. Who knows, I might even pick up some new skills along the way.
